masqmail
annotate docs/INSTALL.linux @ 310:f10a56dc7481
reworked online_detect to the simpler online_query
Only pipe is supported now. Use
online_query="/bin/cat /path/to/file"
instead of
online_detect=file
online_file=/path/to/file
and
online_query="/path/to/some/script foo"
instead of
online_detect=pipe
online_pipe="/path/to/some/script foo"
See man page masqmail.conf(5) and admin/config-transition.

meillo@59 | 7 If you compile for Debian, do the configure with at least these options: |
meillo@59 | 8 |
meillo@59 | 9 ./configure --with-liblockfile --with-group=mail |
meillo@59 | 10 |
meillo@59 | 11 Use the group `mail' instead of the group `trusted'. |
meillo@59 | 12 |
meillo@59 | 13 You can also build your own Debian package with |
meillo@59 | 14 |
meillo@59 | 15 dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot |
meillo@59 | 16 |
meillo@59 | 17 You need to have fakeroot installed to do this. Or, as root, do: |

meillo@59 | 21 However, you better have a look at the official masqmail package in |
