Hello,

this is the first of my weekly reports, that I plan to send during the
time I work on my diploma thesis.
I write in English to have it easier to use these emails later, if I
want to do so.

The purpose of the reports is to tell you regularly about what I'm
working on ... and to put some ``pressure'' on me ;-)

What I did this week:
* set up new website for masqmail: http://prog.marmaro.de/masqmail
* set up mailinglist: masqmail@marmaro.de
* set up repository for thesis and documentation stuff
* constructed skeleton for the thesis (in latex)
* sorted data about masqmail which I collected during the last months
* read (half of) a book about sendmail
* wrote some project planning documents

Plans for next week:
* start with ``real content''
* write some intro texts
* read masqmail code
* learn basic structure of masqmail and write about it
* improve website
* get in contact with people who use(d) masqmail (old mailinglist)

Questions:
* should I keep my thesis secret, or can I make its repo publically
  available?
* are there any specific requirements for the title page and other
  parts of the thesis?
