Source: resize-gd Section: graphics Priority: extra Maintainer: markus schnalke <meillo@marmaro.de> Homepage: http://prog.marmaro.de/resize-gd Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 5), libgd2-noxpm-dev | libgd2-xpm-dev Standards-Version: 3.8.0 Package: resize-gd Architecture: i386 Depends: ${shlibs:Depends} Description: resizes images using the gd-library The program has two modes: * aspect ratio of the images is preserved and only shrinking is done. Smaller images remain unmodified. * the images are resized to match a specific size. The images probably get stretched and enlarged. . All resizing is done in-place. . Only JPEG and PNG files are supported. The filetype is detected by the filename suffix which has to be `.jpg', `.jpeg' or `.png'. Unsupported files get skipped. . This program is meant to be a small(er) alternative to the `mogrify -resize' command of ImageMagick. Mainly because ImageMagick has lots of dependencies, while the GD-Library has less.
